Purpose

The Aerospace Medical Association Foundation

The Foundation is organized exclusively for educational and scientific purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code to advance the knowledge of aerospace medicine and to promote educational and research programs.

Charitable gifts to the Aerospace Medical Association (AsMA) Foundation are deductible to the extent allowed by law. The Foundation will support the field of Aerospace Medicine and the Association through financial support of:

  • Educational and scientific programs,
  • Scholarships to members in training
  • Grants for research programs that will enhance the health, safety, and performance of personnel in the aerospace environments, and
  • Develop additional support activities as determined by the Board of Directors.

In order to achieve these goals, the Foundation will receive gifts, bequests, grants, and other property and invest these funds in a conservative manner in high performing instruments with low expense ratios.
